To help us bring a smile to the face of a child in need of a reason to smile, we would appreciate any help in the following areas:
- Prayers
- New toys and new or "gently used" books, including books in Spanish
- New backpacks & school supplies
- Gift cards to stores, fast food restaurants, etc.
- Individually wrapped snack items
- New or "gently used" children's clothing
- New or "gently used" childrens or family videos, DVD's & CD's
- Toiletry items (including shampoos, lotions, etc. from hotels)
- Volunteering of your time
- Organizing and/or hosting a fundraiser
- Organizing a toy, book or school supply drive

Because TROT (Therapeutic Riding of Tucson) played an important role in Shyann's therapy, we have established a scholarship in her name. This scholarship is for children with special needs who would benefit from hippotherapy, but would not be able to afford it without help.
In the four years that Shyann received hippotherapy at TROT, she went from a short endurance time, having to be totally supported while she rode, to sitting up on her own and doing well through the entire 30 minute session. We believe this therapy, along with her other therapies, helped to increase her body strength and balance to the point where she had been able to use her walker to take several steps.
